Joe,
After such a terrific collection of quotes - you have earned your time in France and a break from your blog!
Look forward to reading of your exploits over the next few weeks.
Thanks, Edward, and the collection will grow - even if I have to make up some of my own! Exploits - three young kids on the London Tube with luggage - thats an exploit! The wine exploits will be more modest...
Hey you're on a European vacation! That's cool. I got a vacation from my usual weekday schedule (which is in addition to taking a break from blogging -- seems like everyone's doing it!) and so I went to the final midi conseil of the year. It was a gratis event and under-attended -- or at least that's how I'm guessing it would compare, not having been in ages.
Vin de piscine was the theme, which animators interpreted to mean rosé. You didn't miss much!
I debated buying the family berets...surprised at the weak Midi Conseils attendance - it was packed every time I went over the past few months. I guess rose at the pool makes sense...thanks for letting me know I didnèt miss much.
"may you never want for wine nor a friend to help you drink it"
i wish i know what that meant...:P
