They even have a nice "Blanche de Chambly" and a lambic-styled beer called Ephemere - I bet they are available in Philly. Of course, I would throw them all out the window for this Prum...even the label is beautiful!Joehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07747056255576335926noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27657184.post-37328597679635262402008-07-13T20:46:00.000-04:002008-07-13T20:46:00.000-04:00yes, I think I'd opt for this over the beer you ju...yes, I think I'd opt for this over the beer you just reviewed, though that sounds pretty good too!Davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08253267999981564817noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27657184.post-5019963238789097662008-07-12T21:51:00.000-04:002008-07-12T21:51:00.000-04:00Hi Shea - it's funny how these "dry" (in the Germa...Hi Shea - it's funny how these "dry" (in the German sense) whites go down so easy. So very flavourful, but I think Ed used the word "kiss" for the German whites vs. a new world "spank" - very appropriate, these are beautiful, delicate wines. Just have a look under the Riesling category for some more German ideas. As for the Dieu de Ciel, haven't heard of it, but you prompted me to post some beers...will definitely look for those.Joehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07747056255576335926noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27657184.post-41865594664345308502008-07-09T12:56:00.000-04:002008-07-09T12:56:00.000-04:00I need to find me some of this! And I love Riesling!

Also, unrelated, but I was wondering if you have heard of the Montreal Brewery Dieu du Ciel? I had an amazing stout from them when I was at the Seattle Beer Fest but have not seen them out west or in Toronto before.Sheahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04111980039963661949noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27657184.post-61778955086579960262008-07-09T09:01:00.000-04:002008-07-09T09:01:00.000-04:00No joke, my wife and I fought for that last drop f...No joke, my wife and I fought for that last drop from the bottle...Joehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07747056255576335926noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27657184.post-91903693107648024362008-07-09T02:16:00.000-04:002008-07-09T02:16:00.000-04:00The really good bottles are the ones you try to ho...The really good bottles are the ones you try to hold to your mouth (late at night, when no one is watching) in the hope of getting that one last drop!Edwardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16020445581810054798noreply@blogger.com
